John and Chantal dropped us off close to Canada’s Parliament to explore.

That would sum up the share bewilderment blending in with the crowds till we met up with John and Chantal again, after their appointment.

DSC03942-1280x853A crossing of the Ottawa River had us intermittently exit Ontario and enter the Quebec Province. Observing the Parliament Building from the French side was as equally spectacular.

DSC03969-1280x853In the winter time, people can skate up to approximately 11 kms of the Rideau River canal as a means to get to work. It was hard to comprehend as we watched boats be elevated up locks of water.

Ottawa wasn’t on our route. To have had the opportunity to capture the buzz of what is certainly a beautiful city was another humbling experience made possible by both John and Chantal. Tasting the ‘Beaver Tail’ is a must … we always advocate that one must try local street stall food!
