DSC03642-1280x853We rode through a town called Wellington today. Then a town called Picton. Then caught a ferry. Quite ironic because back home in New Zealand, you catch a ferry between the North Island (Wellington) and the South Island (Picton).

We are now 250 kms away from ending our tour in Ontario.

Quebec is next.

Been a while since we ate snails and frogs legs!

  1. I so enjoyed chatting about your expedition and a brief insight from a New Zealanders perspective, while riding along the St . Lawrence River.
I checked out your website, some great photos and stories… I will take a closer look at minimalism … “living lean” is an attractive lifestyle …

      Hi Al
Thank you for your email and comment. We too enjoyed conversing with you to share your knowledge of the area.
We love the minimalism lifestyle; it has contributed to us cycling across Canada by tandem.
Check out the campervan to hub and spoke on the bike somewhere else on the planet Al. It’s worth it. What is one experience you would like to collect to put a grin on your face everytime you reflect about it afterwards?
If you are ever down under, there is always a bed.
      Smiles
